Church membership is not only biblical, but it is helpful to the growth of a child of God. Any decision of church membership is based upon one’s affirmation of faith in Jesus Christ and his agreement with the statement of faith of Laurel Baptist Church. The basic requirements for church membership at LBC are presented below.

Salvation & Baptism
After you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you may follow God’s simple command of being baptized.

Transfer of Letter from another Fellowship
If you have already accepted Christ and have been baptized, you may present your testimony of salvation to one of our pastoral staff members and then join our membership by statement of faith or transfer of membership from another church.

Complete The Connection Class
Anyone desiring to join the membership of Laurel Baptist Church must complete the four week Connection Class held by Pastor Blankenship.
