He is the founder and director of our REVIVE student ministry, he leads our music and media ministries, and he assist our Pastor in the day to day administration of our ministry. It is clearly seen that without his ministry, Laurel Baptist would not be the church it is today. He and his wife, Julie, have one daughter, Ashlynn.
If Jared is not doing ministry, you can find him watching his beloved Carolina Hurricanes play hockey. He also enjoys playing golf and mentoring young people.

|Lee Smith | Facilities Director|
Lee Smith joined the staff of LBC in 2012. He helps our Pastor in maintaining the facilities daily and serves as a liaison in all building and campus projects. In addition to his role as a staff member, he leads and teaches the JOY small group, sings in the church choir, directs our nursing home ministry, and serves on our men's leadership team. Lee holds an Associate's Degree from Beaufort College.
He loves people, and is one of the greatest encouragers our church has known. He is sport's fan and enjoys reading books that strengthen his spiritual growth.
